Helping young Catholics help others

Do something wonderful...

Every year we give financial support to young Catholics from all over the world who volunteer to do something wonderful and help those less fortunate than themselves. Whether this is on an individual project, or with others – or even if you are planning to travel to Lourdes to help an assisted pilgrim – we would like to help you to achieve your aims.

About us

Since our formation in 1980, we have proudly distributed well over £1 million to support young Catholics from around the world, including Malta, Australia, South Africa, the UK, and Ireland. As a registered charity in the UK, funded by members of the ‘Catenians’—an organisation dedicated to promoting friendship, support, and strengthening Catholic family life—we continue to grow and make a difference.

Our mission is to provide financial assistance to young people who are about to embark on incredible volunteer projects that benefit others. We offer two types of awards: the ‘Individual Project Award’ for those volunteering in developing countries, and the ‘Lourdes Pilgrimage Award’ for those assisting pilgrims in Lourdes, France.

Success stories

Read some inspiring success stories from recipients of our ‘Individual Project Awards’. These young volunteers have ventured into developing countries, bringing hope and change to communities in need. From building schools in rural Africa to providing medical care in remote villages of South America, their dedication and hard work have made a tangible difference. These stories are a testament to the incredible impact that our awards can have, not only on the lives of the volunteers but also on the countless individuals they help.
