This is a financial grant made to assist a young Catholic, who wishes to undertake some individual project by volunteering to do something wonderful for someone else. This could be on your own, or with others, organised by you or through another organisation, but the essential thing that the Trustees are looking for is that you will be doing something of benefit to others – not yourself.
Check your eligibility
You'll need to meet some criteria to be able to apply for an award:
Religious Referee
Your Religious Referee will probably be your school chaplain or parish priest. They will need to be able to confirm to us that you are a practicing catholic.
Project Referee
You'll need to tell us about your Project Referee. This might be a teacher, a lecturer, another student, a friend a scout or youth group leader or similar.
Project Organiser
You'll need to tell us about the organisation that is organising your project.
Make your application by completing our application form. The process should only take about ten minutes.
You must allow 60 days for us to process your application and you cannot apply more than one year in advance of your intended Start Work Date. This is the first working day of your project.
The amount we award varies from £500 to £1500 depending on a few factors including the length of your project, and how many hours a day you will be working, your project location and what you will be doing.
